EBT™ Preventive Screening Tests

There is a fast-growing recognition among patients that early detection of disease can save lives. LIFETEST has responded to this growing public awareness by expanding its services to include preventive screening scans.

The EBT imaging procedures are evidence-based and FDA-approved for the earliest detection of coronary artery and other diseases. These tests are conducted by registered radiologic technologists and read by specially trained board-certified radiologists and cardiologists from the arena's leading medical groups and hospitals. LIFETEST encourages you to consult with your physician to determine which screening(s) are most appropriate for your health.

This same superior EBT technology is now gaining international recognition as a superior preventive screening tool for early disease detection. Currently used in more than 120 facilities worldwide, the EBT scanner has been implemented in many prestigious medical centers for preventive screening.

Explanation of Terms

"Scanning" is the term applied to all techniques employed in state-of-the-art radiological examination and to imaging methods for examination internally of the human body. The term "screening" is used to express preventive imaging techniques employed prior to specific symptoms. A screening will not take the place of a diagnostic CT scan which may be ordered by a physician to evaluate specific symptoms and which may include the use of injected contrast material to enhance the imaging.

Results

The EBT scanner captures exceptionally clear images which the computer software can recreate into 3-D. These images are read and interpreted by leading board-certified radiologists. A detailed written report is sent to your referring physician. (If anything life threatening is noted, your physician will be called.)
